Muir Woods National Monument

• Muir Woods National Monument charges an entrance fee for each individual age 16 and up. You may purchase an annual pass valid only at Muir Woods National Monument below that will cover the passholder and up to 3 individuals ages 16 and up. Individuals under age 16 are admitted free. If you prefer to purchase a one-time admission rather than an annual pass, you may pay upon arrival or purchase the one-time admission when you reserve Muir Woods Parking or Shuttle Reservations which are separate from the entrance fee and NOT covered by the annual pass. 
• Are you visiting more than one park? If you are visiting other federal recreation areas consider purchasing an Interagency Pass (Annual, Senior, Access, Military, etc.) when you arrive at the park. Only purchase this Muir Woods National Monument Annual Pass if you do not plan to use another pass to cover the entrance fee.
• Do you already own a pass? If you already own a valid Interagency Pass (Annual, Senior, Access, Military, etc.), you do not need to purchase the pass below. 
• Site Passes purchased on Recreation.gov are non-refundable and non-transferable.

This Muir Woods National Monument annual pass is valid for 12 months and is only valid for entrance fees at Muir Woods National Monument. If you prefer to purchase one-time only entrance tickets, you may purchase upon arrival at the park or online in advance when/if you book a Muir Woods Parking or Shuttle Reservation. 

The Muir Woods National Monument annual pass covers unlimited entry for the passholder and up to 3 additional accompanying visitors for one year from the end of the month of purchase. There can be only 1 passholder per pass.

All visitors 16 years of age and older are required to pay an entrance fee at Muir Woods National Monument. Please be prepared to show your physical pass or digital pass on your mobile device.

The annual pass does not cover parking. If you plan to enter by private vehicle or use our shuttle, please visit the National Park Service authorized concessioner, Muir Woods Parking and Shuttle Reservations page to book a parking or shuttle reservation in advance. You may also book one-time entrance tickets on the parking and shuttle website for $15 per visitor (16 years and older). 

Please be prepared to show your site pass on your mobile device or printed on paper. Muir Woods National Monument has limited or no connectivity. Please download this pass to your mobile device or print a hard copy before arriving at the park.

Do you already own a pass? Muir Woods National Monument honors the Interagency annual and lifetime passes that are valid at multiple national park and federal sites. If you own one of these passes you do NOT need to purchase a digital site pass.

Passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.
