Haleakala National Park is located on the Island of Maui in Hawai'I. The park consists of two distinct districts; the Summit District, and Kipahulu. Haleakala National Park offers some of the most stunning views of sunrise and sunset on the planet at the Summit District, and remarkable waterfalls and bamboo forestsat the Kipahulu district.
Haleakala National Park charges an entrance fee. You may purchase a 3-day pass below. If you are visiting other federal recreation areas consider purchasing an Interagency Pass (Annual, Senior, Access, Military, etc.) when you arrive at the park. If you already hold one of the accepted entrance passes you do not need to purchase any of the passes listed below.
Site Passes purchased on Recreation.gov are non-refundable and non-transferable. Only purchase this Haleakala National Park Site Pass if you do not plan to use another pass to cover the entrance fee.

THE VEHICLE ENTRY FEE DOES NOT INCLUDE A SUNRISE RESERVATION. Reservations are required for viewing the sunrise at Haleakala National Park. A separate reservation must be made to enter the park between 3am and 7am. Sunrise reservations can be made here: Sunrise Reservations
You are purchasing a digital site pass that is valid only for 3 days at Haleakala National Park.
Haleakala National Park requires all visitors to pay an entrance fee except children under 16 years of age.
This fee covers unlimited entry for one vehicle and passengers for 3 consecutive days, beginning on the start date you select.
Please be prepared to show your site pass on your mobile device (or printed on paper). Connectivity is limited in some parts of the park, so have a downloaded copy or hard copy available at all times.
Entrance passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, will not be replaced if lost or stolen and will be void if altered or reproduced.
Do you already own a pass? Haleakala National Park honors the Interagency annual and lifetime passes that are valid at multiple national park and federal sites. If you own one of these passes you do NOT need to purchase a digital site pass.
Areas of Haleakala National Park have limited or no connectivity. Please download this pass to your mobile device or print a hard copy before arriving at the park.
