Park in the Campbell Creek Science Center visitor parking lot and follow the signs to take the walking path to the visitor entrance.
This program will take place mostly outdoors. Trails that may be muddy, snowy, or icy. Dress appropriately for the weather. Temperatures on the Campbell Tract can often be 10 degrees colder than in other parts of Anchorage.
The Campbell Tract is home to many types of wildlife, including moose and bears. Always pay attention for wild animals, give them lots of space, and practice “bear aware” techniques (e.g., travel in groups, make noise, and carry bear spray).
