Evening Candlelight Tour
Bent'S Old Fort National Historic Site Tours
The Evening Candlelight Tour provides participants with a tour of the fort’s rooms where living history staff and volunteers will provide a view into the lives of the the fort workers, Plains Indians, travelers, soldiers, and Mexican families who were at Bent’s Old Fort in the 1830s and 1840s.

Need to Know
- Reservation Rules
This event is only open to those with advanced reservations. There will be no tickets available for purchase on the nights of the event. Tickets are only valid for the specific date and time indicated on the ticket.
- Check in Time
Registered guests should arrive 15 minutes prior to their reservation time. Participants arriving late for their scheduled tour time will miss their tour. Tickets cannot be substituted for another tour date or time, and there are no refunds. A printed ticket or downloaded digital ticket is required to be presented to a park representative upon check-in. Digital tickets will only be accepted if downloaded in advance of arrival since there is no wi-fi or cell phone coverage to access reservation once on site.
- No Late Arrivals
If participant is late for the specified scheduled tour, he/she/they will miss the tour and their ticket cannot be substituted for another tour date or time. There are no refunds. There will be no tickets available for purchase on the nights of the event.
- PRINTED Ticket or Downloaded Digital Ticket is Required

- Fees
A $10 per person fee will be charged for everyone participating on the special tour, including children and seniors. Park passes are not accepted as payment for these special tours. There are no refunds.
- No Shuttle Services
No shuttle services are available. Participants must be able to walk the ¼ mile paved, level trail to travel between the parking lot and the fort and be able to stand and walk the entire time of the tour.
- Restrooms
There are restrooms at the parking area and at the fort.
