View constellations, planets, and galaxies aboard a tourboat in a dark-sky certified national park! The captain will navigate to a quiet spot on Rainy Lake to optimize dark sky viewing while a ranger helps visitors identify objects with the naked eye and talks about light pollution and what it means to be a dark sky certified park. The specific weekly theme of this cruise may vary depending on the moon phase and there’s always a chance that the Northern Lights may dance for visitors on this tour!

Need to Know
- Check in at Rainy Lake Visitor Center
Check in for tour 30 minutes prior to departure at 1797 Town Road 342, International Falls, MN 56649. After turning onto the visitor center entrance road from Hwy 11 East, stay on this road; it will bring you past the visitor center to the parking lot.
- Minimum Passenger Rule
There is a maximum capacity of 49 passengers; a minimum of 6 total passengers must be present for the tour to take place.
- Recommended Items
Jackets and bug spray are recommended.
- Restrooms
There is a restroom located on the main level of the vessel.
- Prohibited Items
- Food may not be eaten on the vessel, but drinking water is allowed. No smoking on the tour boat.
- No pets are allowed on tour boats unless they are properly documented service animals that are marked accordingly.
