Voyageurs National Park Tours

This special tour will bring passengers to parts of Voyageurs National Park that few get to see. Take a hike with a ranger into the wilderness and experience the stunning and iconic lake views from the Anderson Bay Loop trail. The hiking portion of the tour involves 2.5 miles of moderate to strenuous terrain. The trail goes over rocky surfaces that may be slippery when wet, tree roots cross the trail, and it is possible participants may need to go over or around downed trees.

For your safety and convenience please bring the following with you:

• Enough water to keep you hydrated for 6.5 hours.
• Food and snacks to keep you fueled for 6.5 hours.
• Plastic bag or other receptacle to pack out any food wrappers, tissues etc. that you pack in.
• Footwear that will get you across rocks, over tree roots, and off trail around downed trees.
• Bug spray or bug netting.
• Sunscreen.

Need to Know

• Check in at Rainy Lake Visitor Center

  Check in for tour 30 minutes prior to departure at the Rainy Lake Visitor Center - 1797 Town Road 342, International Falls, MN 56649. After turning onto the visior center entrance road from Hwy 11 East, stay on this road. It will bring you past the visitor center to the parking lot. 

• Minimum Passenger Rule

  There is a maximum capacity of 49 passengers; a minimum of 21 total passengers is required for this tour to depart. If the minimum is not met, the tour will be cancelled and passengers will receive a full refund. 

• Recommended Items

   Jackets/long sleeve layer, bug spray, sunscreen, and sturdy hiking shoes/boots are recommended. Dress approriately for the conditions.

• Restrooms

  There is a restroom located on the main level of the vessel.

• Prohibited Items
  • Food may not be eaten on the vessel, but drinking water is allowed. No smoking on the tour boat. 
  • No pets are allowed on tour boats unless they are properly documented service animals that are marked accordingly.
