Voyage to the Historic Kettle Falls Hotel aboard the Ne-zho-dain tour boat. This tour takes you on a cultural and natural history tour of the park. Spend 2 hours aboard the Ne-zho-dain tour boat getting to the hotel. Upon arrival, spend 2 hours on land dining and touring the hotel and nearby dam. Finally, enjoy a 1.5-hour cruise on your return route. Please note: Due to time constraints, visitors on this trip may bring their own lunch or pre-order a boxed lunch at the time of tour check-in at the visitor center, then pay and pick up upon arrival at the Kettle Falls Hotel restaurant. Lunch is not included in the tour price. This tour typically runs from mid-June through September.

Thursday Dark Sky Programs: The Kettle Falls tours that take place on Thursdays beginning July 17th are timed to return to the Kabetogama Lake Visitor Center around sunset. On these evenings, there will be a Ranger-led Dark Sky program near the Kabetogama Lake Visitor Center boat launch area that is free to the public.

For daytime tours (departing at 10 AM): Check in for tour 30 minutes prior to departure at the Ash River Visitor Center - 9899 Meadwood Rd, Ash River, MN 55771. From Hwy 53, turn onto the Ash River Trail / County Hwy 129 and follow for 7 miles. Turn left onto the Meadwood Road (entrance road to Ash River Visitor Center). After approximately 3 miles, this road ends at the Ash River Visitor Center parking area.
For evening tours (departing at 1:30 PM or later):
Thursdays: Check in for tour 30 minutes prior to departure at the Kabetogama Lake Visitor Center - 9940 Cedar Lane, Kabetogama, MN 56669. From Hwy 53, turn onto County Hwy 122 and follow 3.5 miles. Turn left onto Cedar Lane and the visitor center will be on your right.

Tour capacity is 29 passengers; a minimum of 6 passengers is required for the tour to depart.
Jackets, bug spray, and sunscreen are recommended.
There is no restroom aboard the boat. Please use visitor center restrooms before departing.
