Beginning August 1, Independence National Historical Park will no longer distribute walk-up tickets on site. All tickets may be reserved on https://recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777 from 10AM to 12 Midnight. Advance tickets will be reservable up to four months in advance. These tickets will be limited in quantity and remain available until fully reserved, or until the time of the scheduled tour. Whichever comes first. Tickets can be printed in advance or shown on a mobile device for scanning at the time of entry. Tours are limited to 17 people per tour.
Ticket reservations – Reserved tickets, you must bring your “print at home” ticket(s) with you or show your ticket(s) on your mobile device. You must arrive at least a half hour before your tour time, on the day of your visit, at the security entrance for Independence Hall at 5th and Chestnut streets. Tours begin promptly at their scheduled time, any late arriving ticket holders may not be guaranteed access to their tour. When purchasing tickets please be advised that minors receiving tickets MUST be accompanied by an adult on a tour. Tours are limited to 17 people per tour.
Beginning July 31, 2021, face masks will be required inside all park buildings, regardless of vaccination status. Social distancing measures and reduced building capacity limits are in effect. Entrance to Independence Hall is by tour only. Tours are limited to 17 people per tour. Park operations vary based on local public health conditions.
