The Fiery Furnace is a confusing maze of high sandstone fins where it is very easy to become lost. These popular 2-1/2 hour hikes are difficult and strenuous, requiring the occasional use of hands to scramble up and through narrow cracks and along narrow ledges above drop-offs. Ranger-guided tours will end for the season in September.
Visitors must wear good hiking shoes and bring at least one quart of water per person. Children under 5 years of age are not allowed. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult. In addition, one adult is required for each child 5 and 6 years of age.

Be prepared for longer lines entering the park. It is your responsibility to ensure you pick up your physical ticket and make it to the Fiery Furnace parking lot in time for the tour.
