Sagamore Hill National Historic Site Tours
Tickets are for a condensed First Floor Only guided tour of the Theodore Roosevelt home. Visitors with a reservation will spend approximately 10-20 minutes inside on the ground floor hearing stories and seeing into rooms (Library and Summer Oval Office, Drawing Room, Dining Room, and North Room.

Will be released on recreation.gov at 9:30am the day before the tour.
30 onsite tickets
will be sold at the Old Orchard Museum starting at 12pm on the day of the tour until they are sold out.

You must be logged onto your recreation.gov account before placing tickets into your cart. If you do not have a recreation.gov account, you must create one before continuing. Tickets are limited in quantity and remain available until fully reserved, or until the time of the scheduled tour. Whichever comes first. Purchasing tickets via a desktop computer will be easier than your phone.
Have your digital receipt. You can print a copy but it's not neccessary if you have the receipt on your phone.
Senior Tickets. If you purchase a senior ticket, be ready with ID at the start of the tour.
Military Tickets. If you purchase a military ticket, be ready with ID at the start of the tour. Visit our website to see what type of ID is accepted.
No Restrooms at the Roosevelt Home. Use the toilets next to the parking lot or at the Old Orchard Museum (Thursday 1pm-4:30pm, Friday - Sunday 12pm - 4:30pm).
Arrive On Time. Visitors who arrive late will not be admitted into the Roosevelt Home. Tour-goers should meet their guide at the front door of the Roosevelt Home at their scheduled tour time. Tours will begin promptly at the scheduled time.
Backpacks and strollers are not permitted inside the Roosevelt Home.
Extreme Weather. Please dress according to the weather, as a portion of the tour will take place outdoors. Tours will take place rain or shine.
Temperatures Inside the Roosevelt Home. During extended periods of heat and humidity, the Roosevelt Home can be hot. Please hydrate well and dress accordingly. The tour length and upper floor access will be reduced when certain inside heat thresholds have been reached.
