The Gothic Palace Lantern Tour includes the first two highly-decorated rooms of Lehman Caves, is conducted by lantern light, and is 30 minutes in duration. It is ideal for families with young children.

Please check in at the Lehman Caves Visitor Center at least 15 minutes in advance of your tour's scheduled start time. If you have not checked in with the front desk to claim your reserved tickets within five minutes of the scheduled start time of your tour, your tickets will be forfeit.
The elevation at the cave entrance is 6,825ft (2080m). The temperature in the cave is a constant 50F (10C) year round so a light jacket is recommended. Please wear shoes with good traction as trails may be wet and slippery. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
The only items visitors may bring in the cave with them is a (hand-held) camera, jacket and flashlight. All other items, including purses, backpacks, fanny packs, strollers, tripods, camera bags, food, water, tobacco, gum, and pets are not allowed.
White Nose Syndrome is a fungus which is fatal to bats. In order to protect the bat population of Lehman Caves please be sure not to wear or carry anything into Lehman Caves which hasn't been laundered or disinfected since the last time it was in another bat habitat, such as a cave, mine of lava tube.
Refunds will not be provided for late arrivals or missed tours. Give yourself plenty of travel time. Wide loads and weather are some of a number of items which can slow your journey. Refunds will not be provided on the day of the scheduled tour. Reserved tickets for Lehman Caves Tours may not be transferred to other available tour times on the date of the reservation.
If you or someone in your party uses a wheelchair or other assistive mobility device, please inquire at the Lehman Caves Visitor Center about the First Room Tour. NOTE: Rangers cannot push wheelchairs.
Assisted listening devices are available - inquire at the Lehman Caves Visitor Center front desk at least five minutes before the tour begins.
