Pecos National Historical Park Fishing Reservations
Beat 1: The northernmost stretch of the Pecos River available for fishing in the park. It is also the most accessible being that the parking for this beat is about 100 yards from the bottom of the beat where you can start fishing.Select a date to see a list of times
Need to Know
- Check in and out required
Anglers must check in at the visitor center before heading to the river. 8:30 am is the earliest anglers can check-in. During check-in, park staff will confirm the reservation, review fishing licenses, and provide directions and parking placards. Anglers are also expected to check out at the end of the day, be off the water by 3 pm and checked out before the visitor center closes at 4 pm.
- 4 person maximum, per beat, per day
When making a reservation, all people in your group, whether fishing or not, must be accounted for in the reservation. There is a maximum of 4 people per beat, per day.
