Advance reservations are available ONLY for commercial groups and public groups of 10 or more people.
Public tours are offered throughout the day on a first come, first served basis. Please see the times listed.
Late June and September are good times to visit and the weather is still nice. High visitation often occurs on weekends, holidays and during the month of October. Crowds are smaller in May and November.
High Season May - October
Val-Kill will be open Wed - Sun from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Guided tours are offered at 9:30 AM and continue throughout the day with the last tour at 4:00 PM.
Low Season November - December
Closed January - March
Access to Val-Kill is by tour only. When unexpected high visitation occurs, the guided tours may switch to self guided tours.

Yes, this tour involves a short walk to the home and back. Additionally, there is a short walk from the parking lot to the visitor center.
The tour takes places indoors and outdoors. Please dress according to the weather. Tours operate during high tempertatures, low tempatures, snow and rain.
