Vanderbilt Mansion National Historic Site Tours
Visit Frederick and Louise Vanderbilt’s Hudson River mansion on the estate commonly known as Hyde Park. A tour of the well preserved country house provides a glimpse of estate life and the world of the American millionaire during the era historians refer to as the Gilded Age.
This is a 45 minute ranger led tour of the mansion’s first floor, second floor and basement. Frederick Vanderbilt's bedroom is undergoing a restoration project and is not furnished.

Consistent with CDC guidance regarding areas of low and medium community covid transmission, masks are optional for all visitors to the Vanderbilt Mansion National Historic Site, regardless of vaccination status.
Check-in is required at the Pavilion Visitor Center (closest to the parking lot) 15 MINUTES prior to reservation time. We may not be able to accomodate late arrivals.
There are eleven low rise steps without hand rail to enter the mansion.
