Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge Ticketed Entry
The Kīlauea Point National Wildlife Refuge offers a self-guided tour that includes an opportunity to see and photograph scenic coastal vistas and views of native Hawaiian seabirds. Interpretive signage and displays offer information on the wildlife, native plants that provide habitat, geology, and much more! Volunteer docents are also available to answer questions and provide additional information. A Nature Store managed by our Friends group provides shopping opportunities and proceeds generated from sales goes to support the refuge in its mission.

This timed entry is valid for the date and time listed on your ticket. Please be prepared to show your printed or digital ticket upon entry. When applicable, pass holders must show their pass and ID for validation
This location uses a timed entry reservation system in order to meet the CDC, state and local guidance related to COVID-19
America The Beautiful, Duck Stamp and Kamaʻāina passes are accepted as your entrance fee. Pass holders will be required to pay the $1.00 reservation fee
If you have made a reservation based on the purchase of a pass on-site, please indicate so at the entrance so we may facilitate that process
No drones allowed
Maintain at least a 10-foot distance from wildlife. They need to remain wild and dissociated from human things (i.e. cars, dogs and cats, human food, etc.)
No pets (except identified service dogs)
No food or drink (except water)
Walking or biking onto the Refuge is prohibited
No vaping or smoking is allowed
Kīlauea Point is approximately 250 yards beyond the parking area, past a slight incline, and is paved for accessibility
A request for a golf cart transport from the parking area is available through a Park Ranger or volunteer. Volunteers or employees will not be responsible for loading/unloading of mobility assistive devices. If visitors need assistance with accessibility, they must bring a companion to provide aid
Non-chilled faucet water is available on-site at the Visitor Center filling station or drinking fountain at the Point
Restrooms available onsite within the fee area
