Mesa Verde National Park Tours

Mesa Verde National Park

Mesa Verde, Spanish for green table, offers a spectacular look into the lives of the Ancestral Pueblo people who made it their home for over 700 years, from 600 to 1300 CE. Today, the park protects nearly 5,000 known archeological sites, including 600 cliff dwellings. These sites are some of the most notable and best preserved in the United States.

Road work is expected during the spring and summer. Plan extra travel time within the park.

Because the opportunities for special tours change each year, not all the tours listed below are available this year. The tours offered for the 2020 season are Balcony House, Balcony House Sunrise Tour, Cliff Palace, Cliff Palace Early Bird Tour, Cliff Palace Twilight Tour, Long House, Mug House, Square Tower House, and Spring House. (The Balcony House Early Bird, Oak Tree House, Wetherill Mesa Bike and Hike, and Yucca House will not be offered in 2020.)
