Glacier National Park will implement Vehicle Reservations in the summer of 2023. From 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., a vehicle reservation is required for four areas of the park: Going-to-the-Sun Road, the North Fork, Two Medicine, and Many Glacier. In addition to a vehicle reservation, a park pass is required to enter the park. A vehicle reservation does not include a park pass, and the park pass does not serve as a vehicle reservation. Each location has unique details and requires a separate reservation.
A vehicle reservation is required for each automobile and motorcycle entering the Going-to-the-Sun Road Corridor via the West Entrance and the North Fork area of the park from May 26 through September 10, 2023, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Vehicle reservations are also required for Two Medicine and Many Glacier valleys and the St. Mary Entrance to Going-to-the-Sun Road on the east side of the park from July 1 through September 10, 2023, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. In addition to a vehicle reservation, a park pass is required to enter the park. A vehicle reservation does not include a park pass, and the park pass does not serve as a vehicle reservation.
Learn more about the vehicle reservation system on Glacier National Park's Website.
Visitors with lodging, camping, transportation, or commercial activity reservations within Going-to-the-Sun Road Corridor, Many Glacier, or Two Medicine can use their reservation for entry instead of a $2 reservation to gain access to the portion of the park for which they have a reservation. Service reservations are not available in the North Fork area.
Wilderness camping permits or proof of a registered campsite allow vehicle access to the area in the which reservation is valid for the day/s of service (i.e., a wilderness camping permit for a trail in Many Glacier only provides access to Many Glacier and no other areas of the park).
For a list of qualifying services, please visit Glacier National Park's vehicle reservation page .
