Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest
Timpooneke Trailhead is located along the Alpine Scenic Loop. The area provides outstanding recreation opportunities and majestic views. The Timpooneke Trailhead is the gateway to many opportunities including the Timpooneke Trail leading to the Mount Timpanogos Summit. Scout Falls, Emerald Lake Shelter, Aspen Grove trail loop can be accessed from the trailhead. The trails are open to hikers, horse riders and single-track users.
Tickets are required on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays (July 24, and Labor Day September 7) from midnight 12:00am-12:00pm noon of that day.
Please have printed ticket visible in vehicle with date of reservation visible.
A valid recreation pass is required to be on display while parked at the Timpooneke Trailhead, 7-days/week. The private vehicle reservation covers this on permit days or if you have a Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest Annual Pass, or any of the America the Beautiful, National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Passes you'll be prompted to enter a pass number at check out. Have the Recreation Pass on display along with your printed Timed Ticket on the dashboard at the Timpooneke Trailhead on Saturday/Sunday & holidays.
Visitors can have up to 1 private vehicle reservation per day for only 1 time slot. Only one (1) reservation per private vehicle. Reservation holder must be present at time of reservation.
Primary Booking Window: 76 Tickets are available 30 days in advance at 10 a.m. ET.
Secondary Booking Window: 24 Tickets are also available two days in advance at 10 a.m. ET on a rolling daily window.
This site will allow cancellation up to 5 days in advance. The site will not give any refund for no-shows. All America the Beautiful, National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Passes, Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest Annual Passes can be used to make reservations for the timed ticket.
