Provides access to Grand Canyon National Park's Tuweep area, including all park areas within Toroweap Valley and on the Kanab Plateau, for one private vehicle or motorcycle.
Valid for one private vehicle or motorcycle. Be equipped to display: (1) Vehicle Day Permit, (2) Photo ID, and (3) Park Pass. Must arrive between sunrise and 1 hour prior to sunset on reservation date. Valid sunrise to 30 minutes past sunset.
(1) Highway license plate and insurance required. (2) Max total length end-to-end 22 ft (6.7 m). (3) Noise limit = normal conversation; 60 dBA at 50 ft (15.2 m). (4) Driving muddy roads prohibited.
Travel under 30 mph (50 kph) and reduce tire pressure to avoid flat tires; tow service, if available, $1,000+. There is no water, gas, food, lodging, Wi-Fi, or cell service. Ensure you have adequate fuel and self-recovery items, such as tire plugs and bike pump. Carry extra water, food, and warm clothing.
Pets (leashed), bikes, and vehicles restricted to roads. Fires and charcoal prohibited; fossil fuels allowed. No hunting or collecting. No drones, paragliders, or wingsuits. Pack out all trash.
