Presidio Picnic Place Buyout (Monday - Friday)
Are you looking to host a large gathering at Tunnel Tops Picnic Place? With a Picnic Place buyout (Monday to Friday) you can access all the Presidio Tunnel Tops has to offer. Enjoy an outdoor meal with guests, bring your own food to grill or buy prepared meals at one of the rotating cast of mobile food vendors. Take in amazing Golden Gate and panoramic Bay views you can't find anywhere else in San Francisco. With a buyout of picnic place, you would have access to all 9 tables ranging in length from 16 to 23 feet. They are also wheelchair accessible and shaded by torrey pines.

The East Meadow lawn that is adjacent to Picnic Place is not included with Picnic Place reservations and is not guaranteed to be available. The East Meadow may be rented for private events and is open to use on a first-come, first-served basis when it is not in use for an event. To check if the lawn has been rented on a specific date, please email us at picnic@presidiotrust.gov

Approved reservations are required to provide rental insurance, if insurance is not submitted 7 days before the reservation date the reservation is forfeited and no refund will be permitted. Permits must meet the insurance requirements of the Presidio attached to the Picnic Place Buyout Application.
This reservation is for casual picnicking only. This reservation does not allow any Special Use activates. Please review the Lawn Rentals and Special Use Permit webpage for more information on obtaining a Special Use Permit and rental options.
