Adams NHP has a strict bag policy for visitors to the historic homes. Backpacks, luggage, and bags larger than 9" x 11" x 5" are not permitted in the historic homes. Be advised that the park does not have storage lockers for these items and we recommend they be left in your personal vehicle or at your hotel. Bags may not be left unattended on park grounds. Anyone carrying a backpack or a bag larger than 9" x 11" x 5" will not be permitted in the historic homes. Please call the Visitor Center at 617-770-1175 with any questions.
Parking Alert: Parking on Adams Street is limited and may not be available because of construction on Adams Street.
Traveling on U.S. Interstate 93, take exit 7 - Route 3 South to Braintree and Cape Cod. Take the first exit off Route 3 south - exit 42 - and follow signs toward Quincy Center. Continue straight on Burgin Parkway through six traffic lights. At the seventh traffic light, turn right onto Dimmock Street. Follow Dimmock Street one block and turn right onto Hancock Street. The National Park Service Visitor Center, located at 1250 Hancock Street on your left. Validated parking is in the garage to the rear.
