Campbell Creek Science Center K-12 Youth Field Trips

Blm Campbell Creek Science Center

The BLM Campbell Creek Science Center (CCSC) offers dynamic field trips for K-12 students, homeschool groups, and other youth groups—field trips that bring learning and science to life and help youth connect with nature. CCSC offers a variety of program topics. Most groups choose a three-hour program and begin at 10am. However, program length and start and end times are flexible. If you would like a six-hour program ($24/student) or a two-hour program ($8/student) or to start at a different time, please book the three-hour 10am time slot on your preferred date and email sciencecenter@blm.gov to let us know. All CCSC programs are aligned with Next Generation Science Standards and science content standards for Alaska. Programs are fully accessible. Notify CCSC in advance of any special needs or requirements for your group. An all-terrain and snow-capable wheelchair is available for participants with mobility impairments.

Homeschool groups, we encourage you to sign up on days the Anchorage School District is out of school including: October 16, 27, 28, 29 or November 3, 2026 if possible. Thank you for your flexibility and support.

Group Size: We can accommodate up to 68 students. Different dates have different capacities however. Maximum group size is firm, so please do not sign up unless the maximum group size can accommodate your group. If you have a smaller group size (less than 35), we encourage you to choose a date that can accommodate 35 students or less to save the larger capacities for larger groups. Thanks!
