Blm Campbell Creek Science Center
Imagine the discoveries you will make as you explore Alaska’s natural world! The BLM Campbell Creek Science Center (CCSC) offers dynamic field trips for K-12 students, homeschool groups, and other youth groups—field trips that bring learning and science to life and help youth connect with nature. CCSC offers a variety of program topics. You will indicate your group’s grade and program topic choice in the text field for grade when you check out. Programs are three-hours or less, and up to six-hours in length. If you would like a six-hour program ($24/student) or a two-hour program ($8/student), please book the three-hour 10am time slot on your preferred date and email sciencecenter@blm.gov to let us know.
All CCSC programs are aligned with Next Generation Science Standards and science content standards for Alaska. Programs are fully accessible. Notify CCSC in advance of any special needs or requirements for your group. An all-terrain and snow-capable wheelchair is available for participants with mobility impairments.
Nature-based education increases student achievement in science, mathematics, and reading. It also improves student motivation, lifelong learning skills, career preparation, and attitudes of respect and responsibility. At Campbell Creek Science Center, everyone is a scientist. Let us guide your journey! All CCSC’s place-based field trips give youth hands-on learning experiences with the natural world.
