Cochiti Day Use Area Tickets

Cochiti Lake is located within the boundaries of the Pueblo de Cochiti Indian Reservation, on the Rio Grande River about half way between Santa Fe and Albuquerque. Cochiti Dam is one of the ten largest earth-fill dams in the US. The Cochiti Swim Beach will implement a reservation ticket system to meet CDC, and state and local guidance related to COVID-19. A limited amount of tickets are available for advanced reservations; tickets cannot be purchased on-site. Cochiti Swim Beach is open to the public for swimming; no fishing is allowed from the beach shoreline. Social distancing and COVID safe practices must be followed to ensure a safe and enjoyable time while at the lake. Each private vehicle entering any Cochiti Day Use Areas will need a reservation ticket. Only one day use reservation is required for the vehicle with a maximum of four (4) passengers per vehicle. You can check the status of the lake by visiting our website for more details. Please take time to ensure you follow all Pueblo regulations, and do not trespass on lands closed to public access.
