Yosemite National Park Ticketed Entry
Reservations are required If you enter Yosemite National Park from 6am-2pm on some days in 2025.
On June 8th NEW RESERVATIONS WILL BE RELEASED TO PURCHASE 7 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL DATE, for example
Arrive June 15 reservations released to purchase June 8th
Arrive June 16 reservations released to purchase June 9th
Arrive June 17th reservations released to purchase June 10th and so on.
What days do I need a reservation if I want to enter Yosemite between 6am-2pm?
RESERVATION REQUIRED-Saturday, May 24 – Sunday, May 26: Memorial Day weekend from 6am-2pm
NO RESERVATION REQUIRED Tuesday May 27 through Saturday June 14
RESERVATION REQUIRED Sunday, June 15 – Friday, August 15: Daily from 6am -2pm
NO RESERVATION REQUIRED Saturday August 16 through Friday August 29
RESERVATION REQUIRED Saturday, August 30 – Monday, September 1: Labor Day weekend from 6am-2pm

Your reservation is valid for 3 consecutive days, beginning the day of arrival reserved. You can arrive any day or travel in and out of the park within the 3 days reserved. Entrance fees still apply. Visitors arriving on foot or bicycle do not require a day use reservation. Peak hour reservations must be purchased online at Recreation.gov or using the Recreation.gov mobile app. Reservations will not be sold at the park. Peak hour reservations are nonrefundable, nontransferable, and resale or auction of reservations is prohibited.
Only one peak hour reservation is required for the vehicle and all occupants. Visitors are allowed up to 1 private vehicle peak hour reservation every three days. Reservation holder must be in the vehicle at the time of entry and prepared to show photo ID.
Photo ID and Pass must be presented at entry station with peak hour ticket confirmation or will be charged the full entry fee. Please be prepared to pay with credit or debit card only.
Please have a printed or digital copy of your peak hour reservation and photo ID available on the day of arrival and each day you reenter. Reservations are valid for three consecutive days beginning with the day of arrival reserved. Pass holders must provide Interagency or Park Pass for validation or will be required to pay the entrance fee, credit card and debit only.
Only visitors with a peak hour reservations may enter the park anytime of day. Visitors without reservations may not enter the park between 6 am PT and 2 pm PT.
Visitors with overnight reservations in the park (wilderness permits, campground or lodging) or a Half Dome permit will not need a peak hour reservation. Have your photo ID, Half Dome or wilderness permit, campground or lodging reservation confirmation ready to show at entrance station. Entry fee is still required.
If you cancel up to 24 hours in advance of arrival the reservation will be available to another visitor. Please cancel if not using reservation.The $2 reservation fee is non-refundable.
Tickets can not be sold, auctioned or transferred
