Starting on March 1, Day Use Entry reservations will not be required to enter Yosemite National Park
Yosemite National Park is working closely with federal, state, and local public health authorities, as well as the four surrounding counties (Mariposa, Tuolumne, Madera, and Mono), to closely monitor the COVID-19 pandemic. The health and safety of park visitors, employees, and partners continues to be our number one priority. Every vehicle entering the park must pay an entry fee. If you have an annual or lifetime pass it will be accepted as your entrance fee, Valid entrance passes accepted are: Yosemite National Park Annual Pass, Interagency Annual Pass, Interagency Senior Pass, Interagency Access Pass, Interagency Volunteer Pass, Interagency Military Pass, Interagency 4th Grade Pass, Veteran's Military Pass, Gold Star Military Pass, Golden Age, and Golden Access.

Day use visitors who arrive by private vehicle or motorcycle must have a day use reservation. Day-use reservations are valid for seven consecutive days and must be validated on the first day that your reservation is scheduled to begin. Visitors arriving on foot or bicycle do not require a day use reservation. Day use reservations must be purchased online at Recreation.gov or using the Recreation.gov mobile app. Reservations will not be sold at the park. Day use reservations are non transferable and resale or auction of reservations is prohibited.
For visitors with overnight accommodations inside Yosemite National Park, including The Ahwahnee Hotel, Yosemite Valley Lodge, and Upper Pines Campground, day-use reservations are included with overnight lodging reservations.
Your annual or lifetime pass is accepted as your entrance fee. Current pass holders and those who plan on purchasing a pass upon arrival at Yosemite will be required to pay the $2.00 reservation fee. If you plan on purchasing your annual or lifetime pass upon arrival, you must come prepared with a credit card. See Fees and Cancellation section for valid entrance passes.
Reservations will be released February 1st at 8 a.m. PT. for any arrival day from February 8th through February 28th. Reservations must be purchased online at Recreation.gov or using the Recreation.gov mobile app. Reservations will not be sold at the park.
In addition, beginning February 1st, an additional batch of tickets will be released on a rolling basis two days in advance of the arrival.

February 3th at 8 A.M. PT releases February 5th
February 4th at 8 A.M. PT releases February 6th
February 5th at 8 A.M. PT releases February 7th
Visitors are allowed up to 1 private vehicle or 1 motorcycle day use reservation per day. Reservations are valid for seven consecutive days. You are not required to obtain a reservation every day you visit. Reservation holder must be in the vehicle or on the motorcycle at the time of entry and prepared to show photo ID.
Please have a printed or digital copy of your day use reservation available to be scanned at the park entrance station the reserved day of arrival. Pass holders must provide Annual or Lifetime Pass (if applicable) for validation or will be required to pay the entrance fee. All reservation holders be prepared to show photo ID.
Visitors must arrive during day use hours on arrival day reserved. Day use hours are 5 a.m. PT to 11 p.m. PT. All day use visitors are required to leave the park by 11 p.m. PT.
Recreation.gov does not accept payment from foreign bank accounts or travelers’ checks.
Day users should leave food in their car with doors closed and food out of sight when hiking or away from vehicle. Not in pickup bed or strapped to outside of vehicle.
Garbage receptacles are located in every parking lot in Yosemite Valley.

Day use reservations will be available beginning 8 a.m. PST on February 1st for arrivals February 8th through February 28th.
Another batch of day use reservations will be available everyday 2 days in advance of arrival, for example on February 5th at 8 a.m. PST reservations can be reserved for February 7th, or February 6th at 8 a.m. PST reservations can be made of February 8th.
Day-use reservations are valid for seven consecutive days and must be validated on the first day that your reservation is scheduled to begin.
Cancellations must be made up to 24 hours in advance of your first day of arrivals for a refund, minus the $2 processing fee. No refunds for no shows or cancellations after the 24 hour window. Please cancel your reservation if you do not plan on using it.
Pass Holders
Please select your ticket type, and you will be prompted to apply your pass information in the Order Details as you proceed through checkout. If you have ordered a pass online and it has not arrived, but the pass will arrive by the time you visit Yosemite National Park, you will have an option to apply that pass to your order. If you plan on purchasing your pass when you arrive at Yosemite, you will have an option to apply that pass to your order. You will be charged for your pass upon your arrival.
Pass holders are required to pay the $2.00 non-refundable reservation fee. Be prepared to show your annual or lifetime pass and your timed entry reservation ticket.
