Overview

Georgetown Lake is managed by Us Army Corps of Engineers and is located near Georgetown, Texas. Located 4 mi W of Georgetown via FM 2338, the lake is easily accessible from the Austin area. The dam impounds the San Gabriel River in the Hill Country of central Texas.

Getting There

To visit the Lake Office, From I-35, travel west on Williams Dr. approx. 5 miles to D.B. Wood Road and continue for approx 0.5 miles to Lake Overlook Drive. Turn right on Lake Overlook Drive and continue 1 block. Turn right to access the Lake Office. Office hours are 8-4:30 M-F. There is a RV turn-around area on this road.
